BROCKPORT, NY – For the second straight year, Brockport scored a goal in the 81
st minute to come away with a 1-0 victory over the Buffalo State women's soccer team.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Bella Vene (Deer Park, NY/Deer Park) made nine saves in goal for Buffalo State.
- Macey Gioeli (N. Tonawanda, NY/N. Tonawanda) and Ryan Berman (River Edge, NJ/River Dell) each had one shot on target for the Bengals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles outshot the Bengals 13-1 in the first half, but the teams went into halftime scoreless.
- Brockport continued to apply the pressure early in the second half, but the Bengals' defense stayed strong and composed.
- Brockport finally broke through in the 81st minute, as Franchesca Polcaro netted the game-winning goal off of an assist from Emily Maczka.
- Buffalo State tried to find an equalizer, but was unable to score the tying goal in the final nine minutes of the match.
FOR THE FOES
- Polcaro's goal was her first of the season.
- Kayla Usborn and Madeline McCrosson each spent a half in goal for the combined clean sheet.
