BUFFALO, NY – Samantha Coakley (Lockport, NY/Lockport) led the Bengals with nine kills as the Buffalo State women's volleyball team swept their match against the Pitt-Bradford Panthers tonight, 3-0.

- The Bengals got off to a dominant start in the first set, winning 25-12.
- In the second set, Pitt-Bradford was able to keep it close until the Bengals pulled away from the 18-18 tie to take the win.
- Pitt-Bradford was able to build momentum in the final set, forcing the Bengals into a 23-21 deficit.
- Angelina Scichilone (Holtsville, NY/Sachem East) earned a crucial kill to swing the momentum back to the Bengals.
- After a late rally, Valerie Ryan (Queens, NY/Frank Sinatra) delivered the final blow to secure the Bengals sweep.

- Olivia Reese led the way with six kills for the Panthers.
- Tabitha Walker had 18 assists.
