OSWEGO, NY - The Buffalo State women's volleyball team fell in straight sets to host Oswego State in SUNYAC action on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A duo block by Scichilone and Liz Schultheis (Holley, NY/Brockport) gave the Bengals a 14-13 lead in the first set, but Oswego State won 12 of the final 15 points to take an early lead.Â
- The Lakers jumped out to a 9-4 lead in the second set, but the Bengals rallied to tie the score at 11-11. Oswego State stretched its lead back to 20-13, but the Bengals clawed back to within two thanks to a five-point run that included two aces by Scichilone. Oswego State responded by taking the final five points of the set.
- After the Lakers took a 15-10 lead in the third set, the Bengals were able to fight back to 20-17 thanks to an ace by Samantha Coakley (Lockport, NY/Lockport). However, Buffalo State was unable to get any closer than that as the Lakers closed out the match with a 25-18 victory in the third set.

- Sydney Chiffriller had 10 kills for Oswego State, while Georgia Farry had five blocks.
