HOW IT HAPPENED

• Morrisville opened the scoring early in the opening period, as Pippy Pritchard netted the first goal just 73 seconds in.
• The Mustangs doubled their advantage on the power play off a rebound with under eight minutes to go in the frame.
• Morrisville added a pair of goals in the final five minutes of the period to take a 4-0 lead into the intermission.
• The Bengals outshot the Mustangs 14-8 in the second period, but neither team was able to find the back of the net.
• Auge stopped all 15 shots she faced in the final two periods, but the Bengals could not get anything going on offense.
