CORTLAND, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team fell to Cortland on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 4-0 at Alumni Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 
  • Cortland opened the scoring with a power-play goal just before the midway point of the first period.  
  • The Red Dragons extended their advantage in the final four minutes of the period on a goal by Amanda Gaffney.
  • Gaffney netted her second goal of the game with just over one minute left in the second period.
  • Cortland wrapped up the scoring in the final two minutes of regulation.
 
FOR THE FOES
 
  • Nine different players registered a point for Cortland.
  • Anna Hamid turned aside all six shots in goal for the shutout victory.
