BUFFALO, NY – Nationally-ranked No. 3 Plattsburgh scored four power-play goals to take advantage of nine Bengal penalties in a 6-0 victory over the Buffalo State women's hockey team on Friday afternoon in the SUNYAC opener.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a Buffalo State penalty just 10 seconds into the game, Plattsburgh capitalized with a power-play goal at 1:21 of the opening period.
- The Cardinals added another power-play goal just before the midway point of the frame to lead 2-0 into the first intermission.
- Three goals in less than one minute of game time early in the second period put the game out of reach.
- After a Buffalo State timeout, the Bengals began to put some pressure on the Plattsburgh goal, as Zwolak and Radecki were each stopped multiple times from close range, and the Bengals were unable to take advantage of multiple loose pucks in front of goal.
- Plattsburgh added one final power-play goal in the third period, and Auge stopped 21 shots in the frame to keep the score at 6-0.

- Zsofia Pazmandi scored a pair of goals and added an assist.
- Kendall Wasik and Ivy Boric each had three assists.
- Lilla Nease stopped 16 shots in goal for the shutout.
