BUFFALO, NY – Sydney Radecki (Lancaster, NY/Buffalo Regals) scored her first collegiate goal to tie the game with under a minute remaining, as the Buffalo State women's hockey team played to a 2-2 draw with Chatham in non-conference action on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals began the game on the front foot, outshooting Chatham 11-4 in the opening frame, but the game remained scoreless into the first intermission.
- Chatham struck first with under seven minutes remaining in the second period, as Abi Fuzaylov knocked in a cross-ice pass from Brooke Almond at the back post for a power-play goal.
- Buffalo State responded early in the third period, with Ursell blasting a shot from the blue line into the bottom right corner of the net off an assist from below the goal line by Flores.
- Almond gave Chatham the lead with 7:07 remaining, after a scramble in front of goal.
- In the final three minutes, the Cougars took a crucial penalty, that allowed Buffalo State to knot the score.
- Radecki netted her first goal of her career with just 43.1 seconds remaining, shooting just over the shoulder of the Chatham goaltender with a backhand shot.
- In overtime, Bethany Horvatits (Elma, NY/Cazenovia Chiefs) was robbed of a potential game-winning goal after a solid cross-ice pass by Ursell.
- The Cougars struck a shot off the post in the final minute as the teams had to settle for a tie.
