BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team fell short in their non-conference matchup with Chatham University this afternoon with a 4-3 final at the Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Chatham got the scoring started halfway into the first period and Lauren Carmody found the back of the net.
- The Bengals offense came soaring back and Flores scored her first collegiate goal to even things at 1-1.
- The Cougars got the lead in the second period on a goal from Rainey Jessup.
- Chatham came back in the third and scored two more goals within the first five minutes of action.
- The Bengals attempted a late offensive push but were ultimately stopped by the Cougars' defense.
- Chatham outshot Buffalo State 32-24 throughout.

- Jessup netted two goals for the Cougars.
- Lindsey Batz made 23 saves in the victory.
