BROCKPORT, NY – A pair of Brockport goals in the third period proved to be the difference as the host Golden Eagles earned a 5-3 victory over the Buffalo State men's hockey in SUNYAC action on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brockport dominated the opening period, holding a 2-0 edge at the intermission and outshooting Buffalo State 14-4.
- The Bengals pulled a goal back 3:53 into the second period, as Glamos took a centering pass from Chris Blango (Chadds Ford, PA/Philadelphia Little Flyers) and went top shelf to beat the goalie.
- Brockport responded with a goal on a cross-ice feed just five minutes later to regain a two-goal advantage.
- Back-to-back goals by the Bengals in the span of 1:34 tied the game into the second intermission. Morin scored from in front of goal through traffic, then Penree ripped a wrist shot into the right corner of the net to equalize at 3-3.
- Early in the third period, Brockport went ahead again with an unassisted goal, then added a second goal midway through the period for the 5-3 final score.

- Connor Galloway scored twice and added a pair of assists, while Josh Grund had a goal and two assists.
