NIAGARA FALLS, NY – The Buffalo State men's basketball team dropped their matchup with Niagara University this afternoon with a final of 113-64 at the Gallagher Center.

• Burch also tallied three steals in the effort.
• Matt Parkinson (Springfield Gardens, NY/John Browne) chipped in 12 points of his own and was 4-4 from the free throw line.
• Buffalo State was 17-23 from the free throw line.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Buffalo State went back-and-forth with Niagara to open the action and knotted things up at 19-19 after a jumper from Parkinson.
• After the Purple Eagles began to pull away, the Bengals fought back and went into halftime trailing 46-39.
• Niagara opened the second half with a pair of baskets to bring their lead to ten.
• The Purple Eagles cruised the rest of the way to secure the victory.

• Quandre Bullock led the Purple Eagles with 20 points.
