POTSDAM, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team fell short in a SUNYAC matchup with the Potsdam Bears with a final of 3-2 in overtime at the Maxcy Ice Arena.

- After a Potsdam penalty, the Bengals were able to retake the lead thanks to a power play goal from Willick; her team leading fifth goal of the season.
- In the closing minutes of the second, Potsdam was able to tie the game again on a power play opportunity of their own.
- Both sides played strong defense in the third period to force overtime.
- The Bears were able to net the game winner late in overtime after a pair of clutch saves in goal.
