ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State indoor track and field teams had several strong performances as they continued their strong start to the season at the Nazareth Alumni Invite tonight at the Golisano Training Center.
 
 
FOR THE BENGAL WOMEN

• Makhia Laster (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter) raced to a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash while Jenna Raczka (Cheektowaga, NY/Maryvale) finished in fourth.
• Destiny Rivera (Brooklyn, NY/Brooklyn Liberal Arts) finished seventh in the 300-meter dash with a time of 44.86 seconds.
• Laster later leaped to a second-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.60 meters.
