POTSDAM, NY – The Buffalo State men's basketball team dropped their SUNYAC-matchup tonight with the Potsdam Bears by a final score of 88-69 at the Maxcy Hall Gym.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After being on the short end of a 7-2 run to open the game, the Bengals clawed their way back into the action and eventually took a 19-18 lead after a Robert Richards (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville South) three-pointer.
- The Bears began to slip away again, however, Buffalo State stayed competitive and went into the locker room at halftime down just 44-37.
- In the second half, the Bengals attempted to chip away at the Bears lead.
- After a few runs, Potsdam was able to hold strong the rest of the way to secure the win.
FOR THE FOES
- Ahamadou Sillah netted 19 points to lead Potsdam's offense.
- Brandon Segar Jr. had a double-double performance with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
