POTSDAM, NY – The Buffalo State women's basketball team fell short in their matchup with the Potsdam Bears tonight by a final score of 84-62 at the Maxcy Hall Gym.

- Brianna Smith (Oakfield, NY/Oakfield) led the Bengals with a game-high 19 points.
- Riley Domin (Getzville, NY/Williamsville South) and Jadyn Jones (Gowanda, NY/Lake Shore) each chipped in nine points of their own.
- Domin also led the team with a game-high six assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals got off to a hot start as they opened the game with an 11-6 run led by Domin and Emily Goodstal (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley).
- Potsdam would respond with a 15-6 run to close out the first quarter capped off by a Bears three-pointer.
- The Bears began to pull away and went into the locker rooms at halftime up 42-34.
- Buffalo State attempted to claw back into the action, but Potsdam kept their foot on the gas in the second half to secure the win.
- The Bears outrebounded the Bengals by a 35-22 margin.
FOR THE FOES
- Dyamon Hunter and Jakia Howard each scored 15 to lead Potsdam.
- Three other Bears joined them in double figures.
