HOW IT HAPPENED

• Plattsburgh opened today's matchup with a 9-0 run.
• Buffalo State finally got on the board after an Awen Kuethping (Syracuse, NY/Henninger) layup and finished the first quarter trailing 16-10.
• The Cardinals built on their lead and went into the half with a strong 34-22 advantage.
• After opening the third quarter with a 7-2 run, Plattsburgh expanded their lead to 21 entering the final 10 minutes of play.
• The Cardinals cruised the final 10 minutes to wrap-up the win.
• Plattsburgh outrebounded the Bengals by a slim 41-40 advantage.

 
FOR THE FOES

• Mya Smith led the offense for the Cardinals with a game-high 16 points.
• Kortney McCarthy and Imani Walcott also scored in double digits for Plattsburgh.
