BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's basketball team fell to Cortland on Friday evening at the Sports Arena by a final score of 70-42.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A 3-pointer by Adiya Jones with eight minutes left in the first quarter gave Buffalo State its largest lead of the game at 5-2, but Cortland closed the quarter on a 14-4 run.
- Cortland extended its lead to 10 points at halftime, outscoring Buffalo State by an 8-5 margin in the second quarter.
- Leading by 13 at the midway point of the period, Cortland closed the third quarter on a 9-2 run to lead 46-26 headed into the fourth quarter.
- The Red Dragons led by as many as 34 in the fourth quarter, and cruised to the 70-42 victory.

- Lily Woodis scored a game-high 12 points to lead Cortland.
