  • Joe Glamos (Baldwinsville, NY/New Jersey Titans) recorded three assists.
  • Nick Stuckless (Orangeville, ON/Skidmore College) and Michael McCosh (Glendale, AZ/New Mexico Ice Wolves) each scored a goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After a Brockport penalty just 24 seconds into the game, Buffalo State struck first as Glamos found Stuckless with a cross-ice pass for the goal with 19:14 remaining in the period.
  • The Bengals doubled their advantage shortly after, with Kozyrev scoring on a nearly identical play off a pass from Glamos.
  • Brockport responded with a power-play goal just over a minute later, then tied the score four minutes after that on a redirection in front of goal.
  • The Golden Eagles took the lead with under four minutes left in the opening period, and held the 3-2 advantage into the intermission.
  • Zach Norby built the Brockport advantage with his second goal of the game, taking a long breakout pass from Ryan Brow and scoring on the breakaway to give the Golden Eagles a 4-2 lead after two periods of play.
  • McCosh netted a goal just 1:04 into the third period to pull Buffalo State to within one, but Brockport goalie Nolan Egbert made a few strong saves early to deny multiple changes to equalize for the Bengals.
  • Brockport netted another power-play goal for insurance with under six minutes remaining, and was able to withstand a last-ditch effort from Buffalo State in the final minutes.
