GENESEO, NY – The Buffalo State men's hockey team fell on the road to #8 Geneseo by a final score of 6-0 on Friday evening.

• This was the first time this season that Buffalo State was shut out.
• Emil Norrman (Kungsbacka, Sweden stopped 32 shots in goal across two periods.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Geneseo netted four goals in the opening period, taking control of the game from early on.
• The Knights tallied the opening goal just five minutes into the game, then added a power-play goal to double the lead with just over eight minutes left to play.
• Two goals in the final three minutes, including a goal with 15 seconds remaining gave the Knights a 4-0 lead after one period of play.
• Norrman stopped all 22 shots in the second period, keeping the score at 4-0 into the second intermission.
• The Knights added a pair of insurance goals in the third period for the 6-0 final score.

• Justin Cmunt scored twice, while Mitch Machlitt had a trio of assists.
