HOW IT HAPPENED
- Geneseo netted four goals in the opening period, taking control of the game from early on.
- The Knights tallied the opening goal just five minutes into the game, then added a power-play goal to double the lead with just over eight minutes left to play.
- Two goals in the final three minutes, including a goal with 15 seconds remaining gave the Knights a 4-0 lead after one period of play.
- Norrman stopped all 22 shots in the second period, keeping the score at 4-0 into the second intermission.
- The Knights added a pair of insurance goals in the third period for the 6-0 final score.
