OSWEGO, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team dropped their NEWHL matchup with the Oswego State Lakers this afternoon by a 9-1 final at the Marano Campus Center Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers offense got off to a fast start they scored within the first two minutes of the game.
- Oswego would add another goal shortly after, and then pick up a third at the end of the first period.
- The Lakers would add three more goals in the second period.
- Buffalo State got on the board early in the third as Ursell found the net for the sixth time this season.
- Oswego kept their offense going to finish off the 9-1 victory.
FOR THE FOES
- Morgan Shines had a hat trick for the Lakers.
- Ariella Hass scored twice and dished out two assists.
- The duo of Lexi Levy and Rachel Brase combined for 22 saves in the win.
