Men's Hockey Set for Final Weekend of Regular Season

BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's hockey team wraps up the regular season this weekend, hitting the road for a pair of SUNYAC contests at Oswego on Friday at 7 pm, and at Cortland on Saturday at 7 pm.

EYES ON THE BENGALS
  • Buffalo State enters play this weekend with a 13-10-0 record (8-6-0 SUNYAC) after falling to Brockport by a final score of 5-3 on Saturday evening. Nikita Kozyrev (Tallinn, Estonia/Springfield Jr. Blues) had a goal and two assists, while Joe Glamos (Baldwinsville, NY/New Jersey Titans) had three assists.
  • Kozyrev's three points moved him into first place in the SUNYAC in points this season, with 29. His 1.32 points per game also rank him 20th in the country.
  • By going 1-for-2 on the power play on Saturday, Buffalo State increased its success rate with the man advantage to 26.0% on the season, the seventh-best mark in the country.
