FREDONIA, NY – The Buffalo State men's basketball team fell short in their contest with the Fredonia Blue Devils by a final score of 93-82 at the Dods Hall Gym. Fredonia also picked up a point in the "Battle by the Lake" standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After taking an early 6-4 lead at the start, the Bengals couldn't keep up as they were down by a half-high 18.
- Despite being down, Buffalo State was able to claw back into the action as they went into halftime only trailing 48-40.
- Buffalo State remained competitive at the beginning of the second half but were unable to chip into Fredonia's lead.
- The Bengals could not get the deficit less than seven and the Blue Devils were able to hold on for the victory.
FOR THE FOES
- Aaron Collins tallied 21 points to lead the Blue Devil offense.
- Fredonia had four other double-digit performances and shot 14-16 from the free throw line.
