BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's lacrosse team fell short this afternoon against the Lycoming College Warriors by a final score of 11-7 at Coyer Field.

- Vanessa Willick (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville East) scored four goals for the Bengals while Emilee Josker (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) added three of her own.
- Anastacia Wells (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) had four caused turnovers and picked up four ground balls.
- Beth Kulikowski (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) picked up 13 saves in the effort.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals offense got started quickly as Willick found the back of the net :30 seconds into the contest.
- Josker would score late in the second with the Bengals a woman down.
- Lycoming would respond with three unanswered goals to close out the first half up 3-2.
- After the Warriors scored early in the third, Buffalo State had back-to-back goals from Josker and Fineour to tie the game up 4-4.
- Lycoming would score two more times in the third, but Willick would net another goal to keep the Bengals in the game.
- The Warriors would open the fourth with four unanswered goals an hand on for the win.
FOR THE FOES
- Riley Block and Katie Maguire each scored four goals for the Warriors.
- Zoe Stauffer made 11 saves in the victory.
