BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State softball returns to action this weekend, as the Bengals hit the road to take on Fredonia in a SUNYAC doubleheader on Saturday afternoon. The matchups will also serve as crucial points in the Battle by the Lake, with the sides knotted at 12 points apiece with just 8 points remaining.

EYES ON THE BENGALS

• Buffalo State holds a 7-5 overall record after 12 games in Florida in March at THE Spring Games. The Bengals' last game was a 13-3 victory over Bates College on March 25.
• Madison Lucas (Oakdale, PA/West Allegheny) and Sydney Bielicki (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) earned SUNYAC Pitcher and Athlete of the Week honors, respectively, for their performances over the final ten games of the trip.
