BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's lacrosse team fell short in their contest with the New Paltz Hawks this afternoon by a final score of 15-3 at Coyer Field.

- Buffalo State cracked the ice as Stack netted the first goal of the game from the free position.
- New Paltz would respond with three unanswered goals to close out the first.
- The Hawks added three more goals in the second and head into halftime leading 6-1.
- New Paltz would open the third with four more goals.
- The Bengals would respond with two of their own thanks to goals from Josker and Fineour.
- The Hawks remained in control the rest of the way to secure the win.
FOR THE FOES
- Morgan Atwater tallied five goals for the Hawks.
- Kaitlyn Shaw added four of her own with six draw controls.
- Gabriella Tommaso made five saves in the win.
