UTICA, NY – The Buffalo State women's soccer team rallied from a goal down on two separate occasions to tie the score, playing to a 2-2 draw with SUNY Poly on Sunday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Faye Panagopoulos (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore West) and Elsa Graf (Pulaski, NY/Sandy Creek) each netted goals for Buffalo State.
- Hannah Esslie (Cairo, NY/Cairo-Durham) added her second assist of the season for the Bengals.
- Addy Williams (Grapevine, TX/Grapevine) made four saves in goal for the Bengals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals found themselves trailing for the first time this season, as Rylie Fisher found the back of the net for the Wildcats in the 15th minute.
- The Bengals came close to equalizing in the 38th minute, as Ryan Berman (River Edge, NJ/River Dell) rang a shot off the right goalpost.
- Less than a minute later, Panagopoulos scored to make the score 1-1.
- SUNY Poly retook the lead less than two minutes later, and held a 2-1 advantage into halftime.
- The Bengals upped the pressure to find a tying goal, which came when Graf sent Esslie's pass into the back of the net in the 69th minute.
- A reinvigorated Buffalo State had four shot attempts on goal in the final twenty minutes, but weren't able to sneak a winner past the Wildcats' Katie Bowers.
FOR THE FOES
- Fisher led SUNY Poly with a goal and an assist.
- Bowers made seven saves in goal in the second half of the contest.
