BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team dropped a SUNYAC matchup on Friday evening to Potsdam by a final score of 4-2 at the Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A turnover in front of the Buffalo State net led to the first Potsdam goal 7:10 into the opening period, as Jalynn Castro found the back of the net with a backhand.
- The Bengals evened the score less than three minutes later, as Willick tapped in the rebound after Ursell deked a pair of Potsdam defenders and sent a shot towards the goal.
- The Bears scored a power-play goal on a rebound to take a 2-1 advantage into the intermission.
- Another Buffalo State turnover led to a Potsdam goal 2:26 into the second period, as Lyvia Chambers intercepted a pass, deked a defender, and sent a shot past Kingston.
- Ramseier pulled the Bengals to within one exactly one minute into the third period, knocking in a rebound off of Ursell's initial shot.
- The Bears needed just five seconds to capitalize with a power-play goal after a Buffalo State penalty, as Castro deflected a shot from the point past Kingston for the final score.

- Castro led Potsdam with two goals.
