BUFFALO, NY – Megan Teachout scored three goals and added an assist to lead visiting Potsdam to a 4-0 victory over the Buffalo State women's hockey team in SUNYAC action on Saturday afternoon at the Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bears scored opened the scoring just 1:06 into the game, as Teachout knocked in a rebound into an open net.
- Kingston stopped ten shots in the first period, while Potsdam goalie Magalie Parent stopped all 11 shots she faced to keep the score at 1-0 into the intermission.
- Two goals in the span of 32 seconds for the Bears in the second period extended the lead to 3-0 after two periods of play, including Teachout's second of the game on the power play.
- At the expiration of a penalty late in the third period, Teachout completed her hat trick on a breakaway.
FOR THE FOES
- In addition to Teachout's four-point night, Rebecca Cain and Jessika Bullock each had two assists.
- Parent made 31 saves for the shutout for Potsdam.
