NEW PALTZ, NY – The Buffalo State women's volleyball team rallied to a four-set victory over the New Paltz Hawks tonight at the Hawk Center. The Bengals defeated New Paltz for the first time since 2013, snapping the Hawks ten-match win streak.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After an 8-8 start in the opening set, the Bengals rallied for six straight points and 10 of 11 overall to take control in the set.
- The Bengals took advantage of the opportunity and scored seven of the last eight points to win the set.
- Buffalo State carried the momentum into the second set with a quick 12-5 start.
- New Paltz could not chip into the Bengals lead as Buffalo State scored the final four points to win the second set.
- The Hawks found their rhythm as they rallied to win the third set and stay alive.
- After a back-and-forth fourth set, the Hawks had a 24-21 advantage.
- The Bengals rallied for six of the final seven points to secure the win.

- Letisha Perez led the Hawks with 12 kills.
- Elena Savage had 28 assists in the effort.
