BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's volleyball team cruised to a three-set sweep over the Plattsburgh Cardinals today at the Sports Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State took control early jumping out to a swift 7-2 start.
- The Bengals eventually pulled away with a 7-2 run before scoring four of the final five points to take the opening set.
- Buffalo State dominated the second set jumping out to a 16-2 lead.
- The Cardinals were unable to get any offense going as the Bengals were able to cruise.
- The Bengals kept their foot on the gas in the final set with a 21- 4 advantage.
- Buffalo State picked up a pair of kills to close out the sweep.
FOR THE FOES
- Darby Collyear led the Cardinals with five kills.
- Anabella Almeida had five assists and four digs in the effort.
