CANTON, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team fell short in their afternoon matchup with the Canton Roos today with a final score of 3-2 at the Roos House.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos got the scoring started halfway through the first period, finding the back of the net after a win in the faceoff circle.
- Buffalo State was able to respond quickly in the half as Radecki scored with two seconds left in the period on a power play opportunity.
- The Roos added a pair of goals in the second period to take control in the action with the second goal coming on a power play.
- Late in the third period, Ursell scored for the Bengals to cut the lead in half. Buffalo State went empty net the final minute of the period but were unable to even the score.
- Overall, Canton outshot the Bengals 27-25 overall and had the advantage on face offs with a 34-29 edge.
FOR THE FOES
- Danika Lalonde, Desiree Snook, and Taryn Oloriz each scored for Canton.
- Abby Seaman made 23 saves in goal for the win.
