- Trine responded quickly with a pair of goals at the end of the period to take a 2-1 lead.
- The Thunder added two more goals in the second period to grow their lead to three.
- In the final 20 minutes of action, the Thunder took advantage of a pair of Bengal penalties with two power play goals.
- Trine killed the clock in the final minutes to secure the weekend sweep.

- Sean Henry led the Tunder with a pair of goals and a pair of assists.
- Cristian Wong-Ramos earned 18 saves in goal for the win.
