HOW IT HAPPENED
- Coming off three-straight losses, the Bengals looked poised to stop the streak and pick up a "W" in the win column. In the first quarter, the Bengals dug themselves in a hole, as the Red Dragons opened-up the game with a 11-0 run to go up early. The Bengals were able to lock-in and get on the board, only trailing the Red Dragons by ten as the quarter ended.
- The second quarter saw the Red Dragons pick up on their lead, going up as much as 17 points in the second quarter. While the Bengals would hold on to keep this matchup within an arms-reach, the Red Dragons were able to carry a 12-point lead entering halftime.
- In the third quarter, the Bengals were able to bring this game down to a ten-point deficit, the Red Dragons offense was too much for the Bengals to withstand. As the third quarter buzzer sounded, the Red Dragons had extended their lead to 17-points, with the Bengals looking for an answer in the fourth quarter.
- The fourth quarter saw both teams lock-in defensively, with the Bengals trying their hardest to collapse this deficit. But, too-little, too-late as the Red Dragons maintained their lead and the Bengals losing on the road in their first SUNYAC battle of the season.
FOR THE FOES
- Emma Schwarzbeck led the Red Dragons with 16 points. Amanda Zuntag and Carlie Young each chipped in with 14 points.
