BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's basketball team fell short against the Potsdam Bears this afternoon with a final score of 63-41 at the Sports Arena.

- Adiya Jones (Washington, D.C./McKinley Technology) led the Bengals with a double-double effort scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds.
- Jones also picked up a pair of steals.
- Grace Carey (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) and Emma Cohen (Utica, NY/TR Proctor) each chipped in 11 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the Bengals scored the first four points, Potsdam went on a 15-0 run and carried a 21-14 lead after the first quarter.
- Buffalo State fought back in the second quarter and shrunk the lead to two, however, the Bears scored the final basket and led 31-27 at the half.
- The Bears were able to grow their lead to nine to open the second half.
- Potsdam was able to close things out in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
FOR THE FOES
- Barbara Bruno led the Bengals with 18 points.
- Jenna Cotter and Alivia Latham each had eight rebounds.
