MORRISVILLE, NY – Host Morrisville scored four goals in the second period to take control in a 7-2 victory over the Buffalo State women's hockey team on Saturday afternoon.

• Madi Digges (Madison, AL/St. Louis Blues AAA) and Amanda Mindzora (Parma, OH/Gilmour Prep) both scored for the Bengals.
• Sydney Radecki (Lancaster, NY/Buffalo Regals) registered an assist.
• Jessica Auge (Laingsburg, MI/Honeybaked Detroit) and Chelsea Kingston (Sault Ste. Marie, ON/Soo Jr. Greyhounds) combined to stop 39 shots in goal for the Bengals.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Neither team was able to score in the opening period, as Auge made nine saves, and Morrisville goaltender Emma Plett stopped all four shots she faced.
• The Mustangs got on the board early in the second period, with a power-play goal just over three minutes into the frame.
• Morrisville added a second goal only 17 seconds later to extend the lead.
• The Mustangs scored twice in the span of less than a minute later in the period.
• Early in the third period, Kendall Kalinowski scored her second goal of the game to make it 5-0. Kalinowski completed the hat trick five minutes later.
• Digges got the Bengals on the board off of an assist from Radecki at 10:10 of the period, but the Mustangs responded with a short-handed goal just one minute later.
• Mindzora scored for her first goal of the season, and fourth point in the past three games with three minutes remaining.

 
FOR THE FOES

• Kalinowski's three goals led Morrisville, and Emma Thompson added a goal and two assists.
