FREDONIA, NY – The Buffalo State men's basketball team dropped their matchup with the Fredonia Blue Devils this afternoon with a final score of 57-52 at Dods Hall.

- Maley McCurty (Syracuse, NY/Nottingham) led the Bengals with 15 points and seven rebounds in the effort.
- Nigel Burch (Sicklerville, NJ/Timber Creek) added 12 points of his own with seven rebounds.
- Burch also had four steals to lead the Bengals defense.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State took control in the early going after a three-pointer to take a one-point lead.
- The Bengals went on to score the final five points of the half to lead 26-19.
- After an 11-0 run early in the second half, the Blue Devils were able to take the lead.
- Despite the Bengals comeback efforts, Fredonia held strong and was able to secure the nail-biting win and a point in the "Battle By The Lake" rivalry.
FOR THE FOES
- Elian Dominquez led Fredonia with 16 points and five rebounds.
- Keenan Roberts Jr. chipped in 15 points and a pair of steals.
