BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's lacrosse team dropped their SUNYAC matchup this afternoon with the Cortland Red Dragons, 20-7, on Coyer Field.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
	- Emilee Josker (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) led the Bengals offense with five points on four goals and as assist.
 
	- Sage Running Rabbit (Siksika, AB/Strathmore) picked up a pair of assists while Vanessa Willick (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville East) led the team with six draw controls.
 
	- Anastacia Wells (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) had two caused turnovers while Brielle Lum (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield) made four saves in goal.
 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
	- Cortland got the scoring started with three goals in the first five minutes of action.
 
	- Shortly after, Josker got the Bengals on the board with a goal from the free position.
 
	- The Red Dragons offense continued to surge, but Lauren Rinow (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) was able to score from the free position before the quarter expired.
 
	- Cortland kept the offense going in the second and led 15-3 at halftime.
 
	- Josker had three goals in the second half, but the Red Dragons were able to cruise the final minutes to secure the win.
 
 
FOR THE FOES
	- Mackenzie Beck had six goals while Amy Hoeffner lead the way with 12 draw controls.
 
	- Rachel Janis picked up eight assists in the win.
