ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State outdoor track and field teams had several strong performances as they competed at the University of Rochester Spring Twilight Invite held at Fauver Stadium.
 
For The Bengal Women

• Natalia Sawyer (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) and Makhia Laster (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter) each picked up wins as Sawyer won the 100-meter hurdles and Laster crossed the line first in the 100-meter dash.
• Sawyer also took the win in the 200-meter while Laster placed third and Jenna Raczka (Cheektowaga, NY/Maryvale) placed seventh.
• Paige Pavelski (East Amherst, NY/Clarence) took eighth in the shot put at 11.26 meters.
