GENESEO, NY –Xzavier Goodman (Buffalo, NY/Olmstead) won the shot put and broke his own school record in the process, while
Dom Cervellera (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) took second in the discus throw, as the Buffalo State men's track and field team earned a sixth-place finish at the SUNYAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday afternoon at Geneseo.

FOR THE BENGALS
- Goodman's second attempt landed at 16.05 meters, breaking his previous school record of 15.96 meters in the shot put.
- Cervellera threw 48.02 meters on his third attempt for his second-place finish in the discus.
- Kai Messmer (Buffalo, NY/St. Joe's) made it to the finals in the triple jump, and finished in seventh place with a mark of 13.16 meters. He had also taken third place in the long jump on Friday.
- Logan Abate (Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills), Sidney Morris (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East), Max Ming (Brooklyn, NY/Orchard Academy), and Gio Ventura (Geneva, NY/Geneva) teamed up for a sixth-place finish in the 4x400-meter dash in 3:29.86.
