BUFFALO, NY – The trio of Chris Kaszynski (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore West), Xzavier Goodman (Buffalo, NY/Olmstead) and Dom Cervellera (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) of the Buffalo State outdoor track and field team are set to return to action this afternoon as they will compete at the Marty Goldberg Gator Invite hosted by Allegheny College. Meet time is slotted for 12:00 pm.

Keeping It Cool With Kaszynski

• Kaszynski will compete in the pole vault for Buffalo State with the top mark in the SUNYAC this season at 4.72 meters.
• He currently ranks 5^th in the AARTFC Region in the event and is coming off a SUNYAC Title and NCAA Championship appearance, where he placed ninth overall in the event, following this past indoor season.
• Kaszynski currently holds the Buffalo State school record in the pole vault for both indoor (4.93 meters) and outdoor (4.90 meters).

 
A Guide To Goodman

• Goodman will compete in the shot put for Buffalo State following a breakout outdoor season.
• After finishing fifth at SUNYAC Championships in the event following the indoor season, Goodman earned the win last weekend at outdoor SUNYAC Championships with a school record mark of 16.05 meters. He also broke the school record in the hammer throw with a mark of 50.36 meters back in early April.
• Goodman currently sits fifth in the region in the event while also being ranked tied for 25^th nationally.

 
Calculating Cervellera

• Cervellera will compete in the discus throw for the Bengals with a personal best mark of 48.02 meters set at SUNYAC Championships last weekend.
• He took home second in the event at the conference meet and currently ranks eighth in the region.
• Cervellera was also the SUNYAC Champion in the event last outdoor season as a freshman.
