HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals faced adversity early, as they went down 3-0 in the first 20 minutes of play.
- Williams kept the Bengals afloat, with several early saves but too much pressure from the Yellowjackets put the Bengals down 5-0 as the first 45 minutes of play ended.
- As the second half of play started, the Bengals began to fight back and force pressure against the Yellowjackets, but the deficit was too much, as the Yellow Jackets netted one more goal to finish the night.
- The Bengals were outshot 23 to 5 by the Yellow Jackets.
FOR THE FOES
- Sydney Holmes and Jordan Kowalkowski both netted two goals apiece for the Yellowjackets.
- Goaltenders Grace Kuropatkin, Kennedy Stark and Marla Radikas were credited with a team effort shutout.
