  • Chisom Ani (Elmont, NY/John Browne) led the Bengals with seven rebounds in the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Entering this matchup against the Oswego State Lakers, the Bengals looked to rebound following two-straight SUNYAC losses. Opening the first half, the Lakers came out hot, opening up on a 5-0 run early on the Bengals. While the Bengals answered back, an early deficit against a solid Laker team kept the Bengals at bay throughout the half. Midway through the half, the Lakers went on another run, this time a 14-0 run and put the Bengals down by 18-points. Credit to the Bengals fight, as they fought through the deficit and finished the half strong…going down by 10-points into halftime.
  • In the second half, the Bengals came out steady as they cut into the Lakers lead and brought this matchup to a single digit deficit. Unluckily for the Bengals as their hot start turned to another Lakers 10-0 run to push this game back into a double-digit deficit. As the game progressed, the Bengals would bring their deficit under 20-points, but it proved to be too much as the Lakers would cruise to the finish line, dropping the Bengals by 23-points.
FOR THE FOES
  • Deacon Judd led the Lakers in points, dropping 16-points in today's game. Steven Bradley also chipped in with 14-points.
  • Judd would also lead the Lakers in rebound with six, with Bradley and Billy Reyes pulling down five boards.
