Men's Soccer Earns Draw With Oneonta In SUNYAC Battle

ONEONTA, NY – The Buffalo State men's soccer team finished with a 1-1 draw against Oneonta in a SUNYAC matchup this evening on Red Dragon Field.

  • Lesedi Sekhobo (Albany, NY/Shaker) scored the lone goal for the Bengals with Alik Stasyuk (Syracuse, NY/Marcellus) picking up the assist.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Sekhobo scored in the 15th minute to give Buffalo State the early lead with his fourth goal of the season.
  • Later in the half, Zach Tanner found the back of the net to even the score at 1-1 as the two sides went into halftime.
  • Buffalo State had multiple chances down the stretch, but strong goaltending from Oneonta kept the Bengals off the scoreboard to secure the draw.
 
FOR THE FOES
  • Joe Holder picked up the assist while James Cintron made 11 saves in goal for the Red Dragons.
