BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's soccer team finished with a thrilling 1-1 draw against New Paltz in a SUNYAC matchup this afternoon on Coyer Field.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Sam Gregson (Anglesey, Wales/Ysgol David Hughes) scored the game-tying goal for Buffalo State with less than two minutes to play while Matthew Stasyuk (Syracuse, NY/Marcellus) earned the assist.
- Carson Smith (Big Flats, NY/Horseheads) and the Bengal defense held the Hawks to 10 shots overall with just one on goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both sides were locked in a defensive battle for the first half of action as neither side could find the back of the net.
- It was much of the same for much of the second half until the Hawks found the net off a free kick opportunity to take a 1-0 lead with just under four minutes to play.
- Gregson scored in the 88th minute off a loose ball in front of the net to even the score for Buffalo State.
- The two sides were even at 10 shots apiece while the Bengals had six on goal.

- Alex Wyant scored the lone goal for New Paltz while Matt Katz made four saves in goal.
