BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's and women's cross country teams returned to action this afternoon as they raced at the annual Canisius Invite across the street at Delaware Park.
 
THE BENGAL BREAKDOWN

• Ricky Curiel (East Amherst, NY/Clarence) led the Bengal men finishing 21^st overall with a time of 26:22. Noah Holden (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence) finished right behind crossing the line 32^nd overall with a time of 26:54.
• Josh Mayer (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) also posted a strong performance with a time of 27:01 as the men finished seventh overall.
• On the women's side, Jorja Smith (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East), Lexi Hoffman (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore East), and Heidi House (Sanborn, NY/Starpoint) finished 67-68-69^th overall, respectively. Smith finished with a time of 21:24 for the 5K course.
• The women finished 13^th overall as a team.
