MEET INFORMATION
THE MATCHUP… The Bengals are set to continue their championship season as they will head to Rochester for NCAA Niagara Regional Championships. Coming off SUNYAC Championships two weeks ago, the men finished fourth overall while the women finished ninth.
THE BENGAL MEN BREAKDOWN… The men have posted a strong season in 2025 with the trio of
Noah Holden (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence),
Ricky Curiel (East Amherst, NY/Clarence), and
Josh Mayer (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) all earning All-SUNYAC honors. In addition, Curiel was placed in the SUNYAC Cross Country Hall of Fame while Mayer earned the SUNYAC Elite 20 Award for his academic accomplishments.
THE BENGAL WOMEN BREAKDOWN… Lexi Hoffman (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore East) and
Jorja Smith (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) have been the top duo on the women's side this season. Smith led the women's side at SUNYAC Championships with a 49
th place finish while Hoffman finished 58
th.
ASSESSING THE COMPETITION… Buffalo State will see the likes of nearly 30 teams at the regional meet. Last year, the men finished 14
th overall while the women finished 21
st overall. NYU earned the team title on both sides a year ago.
