INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE

  • In goal, Addy Williams (Grapevine, TX/Grapevine) recorded nine saves over 70 minutes of action.
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After defeating the Oneonta Red Dragons in their last outing, the Buffalo State Bengals looked to carry that momentum into a competitive road matchup against the New Paltz Hawks. Early in the first half, the Bengals struck first with a goal in the seventh minute to take an early lead. The Hawks responded by applying consistent pressure on the Bengals' backline in search of the equalizer, but the Bengals' defense held firm, preserving the one-goal advantage heading into halftime.
  • In the second half, the Hawks continued to press offensively and found the back of the net in the 54th minute to level the match. Due to an on-field injury, the contest was called in the 70th minute, resulting in a draw.
FOR THE FOES
  • Addison Weiner scored the tying goal for the Hawks.
  • Jess Centeri made two saves in net.
UP NEXT
The Bengals will return home for their final two games of the season, beginning with a matchup against the Oswego State Lakers on Wednesday, October 22nd at 3:00 p.m. for their 'Bengals Supporting Bengals' game.
