Indoor Track & Field Opens Season At Nazareth Invite

ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State men's and women's indoor track & field teams opened their season today at the Nazareth Invite at the Golisano Training Center.
 
THE BENGAL BREAKDOWN
  • Jalil Coppedge (Bronx, NY/Ralph R. McKee) paced the Bengals finishing second in a school record time of 8.36 in the 60-meter hurdles, breaking his own program mark from last season.
  • Natalia Sawyer (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) finished second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.73 seconds.
  • Heidi House (Sanborn, NY/Starpoint) earned a fourth place finish in the high jump at 1.53 meters.
  • Logan Abate (Green Brook, NJ/Watching Hills) took home second in the 60-meter dash at 6.95 seconds, just .01 off the winner.
  • Bryan Honan (Cortland, NY/Cortland) finished third in the shot put at 14.66 meters with Matthew Thompson (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) finishing right behind in fifth place at 13.86 meters in his collegiate debut.
 
UP NEXT

The Bengals return to action on January 16th as they will head to the Brockport Invite.
