HAMBURG, NY – The Buffalo State men's volleyball team got back in the win column tonight with a four-set victory over the Hilbert Hawks at the Brad Hafner Recreation Center.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Malachi Jackson (Buffalo, NY/Cheektowaga) and Brady Bowman (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) led the Bengals with 10 kills each.
- Jackson also registered two service aces, two blocks, and 11 digs.
- Drew Bowman (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) dished out 30 assists in the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After jumping out to a 5-2 lead, the Bengals would go on a 7-2 run to take control in the opening set. Buffalo State would later go on to win the first set despite a late surge from the Hawks.
- After a back-and-forth affair early in the second set, Buffalo State went on a 9-3 tear before Brady Bowman earned the final kill.
- The Hawks bounced-back to win the third set after scoring five of the final six points.
- With another back-and-forth in the fourth set, the Bengal exploded for nine straight points before Brady Bowman again sealed the set with a kill.
FOR THE FOES
- Justin Veal led the Hawks with 11 kills.
- George Muriel gave out 27 assists.
