BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's hockey team fell to the SUNY Canton Roos tonight in a SUNYAC matchup at the Ice Arena with a final score of 4-3.

- Vadim Kiriakov (Tyumen, Russia/Altay Ust-Kamenogorsk) picked up a pair of assists while four other Bengals tallied one point.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Just over two minutes into the game, Bizal scored to put the Bengals up to a quick 1-0 lead.
- Canton responded later in the period with a goal to tie things up.
- Linnavuori scored with just over one minute left in the period to give Buffalo state a 2-1 lead after the first 20 minutes of action.
- The Roos responded again quickly with a goal early in the second period. Both sides would remain quiet on offense the rest of the way and enter the third period with a 2-2 score.
- After Canton scored a go-ahead goal, the Bengals responded just three minutes later as Meure netted a power-play opportunity.
- Nolan Zotter scored the game-winning goal for Canton as they were able to hold off the Bengals for good to secure the win.

- Jordan Prepszi scored a goal and picked up an assist.
- Nate Hopkins made 31 saves in goal in the win.
