BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's hockey team earned a thrilling 4-2 victory over the Oswego State Lakers tonight at the Ice Arena. For the first time in program history, the Bengals swept the season series against the Lakers dating back to 1993.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals offense jumped early as Kwestel and Glamos gave the Bengals a swift 2-0 lead.
- Oswego rallied back with a goal late in the period to cut the lead in half.
- The Lakers were able to even the score after a power play goal as things were tied 2-2 heading into the final 20 minutes of action.
- Early in the period, Powell sniped a shot on a power play opportunity to give Buffalo State the lead.
- Bizal added an insurance goal for the Bengals as Cumberworth was lights out down the stretch to prevent any comeback from the Lakers.
FOR THE FOES
- Daniel Colabufo and Bradnon Cohen each scored for the Lakers.
- Brandon Milberg made 20 saves in goal in the effort.
